As of 2020 Jacob Frey is the Marxist mayor of Minneapolis. Frey is noted for standing by and taking no action[1][2][3] while Leftwingwhite supremacists and rioters[4][5] burnt down 150 buildings[6] destroyed over 400 businesses in primarily minority neighborhoods,[7] causing more the $500 million in damages to primarily minority-owned property and businesses.[8] The Minneapolis police department was disbanded shortly thereafter under Frey's administration,[9] and Minneapolis' violentcrime rates skyrocketed.[10][11]
