Elizabeth Lynne “Liz” Cheney (born July 28, 1966)[2] is the At-Large representative of Wyoming. Cheney accepted an appointment by Democrat Speaker Nancy Pelosi to the partisan Pelosi Panel whitchhunt investigating the January 6 Capitol protests after a bi-partisan panel had been voted down. Originally elected as a Republican, on May 12, 2021, Cheney was removed from her leadership position within the House GOP conference. The Republican Party of Wyoming voted in November 2021 to no longer recognize her as a Republican due to her persistent unjustified ranting against Donald Trump and his supporters.[3] Cheney lost to her Trump-endorsed rival Harriet Hageman on Jan. 22, 2022 by a vote of 59-6 among GOP leaders in Wyoming.[4] Liz Cheney is the neoconservative daughter of former Vice President Dick Cheney.

In December 2021, Cheney violated basic standards of decency by releasing private text messages provided by Mark Meadows, and then Cheney misleadingly pretended they implicated President Trump when he was not even a sender or recipient of any of the texts. Cheney has gone on a rampage against Meadows and other Republicans, voting to hold Meadows and others in contempt for possible imprisonment.

Since 2017 she has pretended to represent Wyoming in Congress, despite not really living there. Cheney is an heir to a fortune garnered by her father Dick Cheney in $45 million paid to him by the globalist defense contractor Halliburton, as he advanced the neocon agenda prior to becoming Vice President.[5] Her inflated view of herself may have resulted from her role occasionally filling in for Bill O'Reilly on Fox NewsThe O'Reilly Factor.

Cheney opposed standing up against Democrat election fraud on Jan. 6, 2021, and espoused Leftist talking points demonizing President Trump and Trump supporters as "white supremacists" and "domestic terrorists."

Married to an attorney who is a partner at a wealthy liberal D.C. law firm, Cheney has served in the State Department as a senior Middle East advisor. A neoconservative and RINO, Cheney has attacked and opposed President Trump and many prominent conservatives using lamestream media agitprop to appease the D.C. establishment. After her election to Congress, she served as the chair of the House Republican Conference, but many prominent House Republicans and Wyoming constituents called on her to resign after her disgraceful siding with Dems in their unjustified second impeachment of President Trump. She even "quietly orchestrated a Washington Post op-ed by 10 living former defense secretaries cautioning that then-President Trump might attempt to politicize the military."[6] As a result, she was removed from her leadership post by House Republicans in May 2021.[7]

United States House of Representatives

2016 election

On February 1, 2016, Cheney announced her candidacy for the Wyoming at-large open seat vacated by Rep. Cynthia Lummis in the House of Representatives as a Republican. She won the primary and later general election held on November 8, 2016.[8]

Opposition to Trump and conservatives

Following remarks by adamant conservative Steve King that were completely misconstrued by liberals and the MSM to falsely portray him as "racist",[9] Cheney joined the establishment smears against him and called for his resignation.[10][11] King quickly pushed back at Cheney's slanderous claims.[12]

Cheney again attacked Rep. King in mid-August 2019 after he bluntly argued against only allowing abortions for children who were conceived out of rape,[13] calling on him to resign. This was concurrent with other attacks against the representative, all of which misconstrued his obvious point and instead tried to portray him as a misogynist.[14]

After libertarian Republican representative Thomas Massie forced a vote on a pork-filled coronavirus relief bill,[15] angering many, Cheney donated to his primary opponent Todd McMurtry.[16] Cheney later embarrassingly demanded McMurtry return campaign contributions after racist tweets of his surfaced.[17] Massie, after handily winning his primary, called out Cheney for the failed attempt to oust him.[18]

Cheney defended and praised entrenched fraud Anthony Fauci after he was rebuked by Sen. Rand Paul.[19][20]

At a House GOP conference held on July 21, 2020, Cheney faced massive criticism from the more conservative, pro-Trump House Freedom Caucus, whose members called her out on mere lip service to Trump and conservative causes.[21] In the closed-door meeting, she sparred with several anti-establishment movement conservatives including Matt GaetzJim Jordan, and Chip Roy; Gaetz later called for Cheney to resign from her position. Roy reportedly had called out the Wyoming representative for being highly supportive of Fauci, and others criticized her for backing fiscal conservative Thomas Massie's primary challenger. President Trump soon called out Cheney, tweeting that she "is only upset because I have been actively getting our great and beautiful Country out of the ridiculous and costly Endless Wars."[22]

neoconservative and hawkish backer of perpetual war, Cheney worked with liberal anti-Trump Democrats in early July 2020 to undermine President Trump's plans to withdraw troops from the Middle East.[23]

Following heavy election fraud in the 2020 U.S. presidential election, Cheney in late November 2020 called for Trump to concede.[24] She later sent a memo to other House Republicans in opposition to objecting to the Biden electors.[25] After a largely peaceful protest organized by Trump supporters in the U.S. Capitol where a small mob likely comprised partly of Antifa infiltrators and paid protesters violently broke into the Capitol building, Cheney absurdly blamed Trump for the breaking and entering, saying: "There’s no question the president formed the mob, the president incited the mob, the president addressed the mob. He lit the flame."[26]

Based upon Cheney's unreasonable support of Trump's second impeachment, more than 115 members of the U.S. House favor removing Cheney as chair of the House GOP Conference, over half of the conference no longer supports her. These Republican members want to express no confidence in Cheney’s leadership.[27][28] Andy Biggs and Matt Rosendale are promoting a petition to hold a special conference meeting so that a debate and a vote be held on a resolution calling on Cheney to resign. Cheney survived the 2021 closed-door vote reportedly by a 145–61 tally.[29]

Based upon her unreasonable support of Trump's second impeachment, Wyoming state Senator Anthony Bouchard has announced a primary challenge to Cheney in 2022.[30] The Wyoming Republican Party voted on February 6, 2021, to censure Cheney for voting to impeach Trump. The vote was overwhelming, only eight members out of 74 members of the state party's central committee opposed the censure.[31] Over the next several months, other members of the House GOP leadership began distancing themselves from her, and on May 12, the caucus voted to remove her as chair. Afterwards, Cheney remained defiant, claiming, without evidence, that Trump lacked "dedication to the Constitution," and vowing she would do everything in her power to prevent him from winning a third election as President.[32]

Family

Cheney is married to Phillip Perry. Perry is a Partner at Latham & Watkins, a law firm with offices in Shanghai and Beijing. Latham & Watkins describes itself as “advising” the technology firm Tencent on its investment in an American company. Tencent has been described by the State Department’s Bureau of International Security and Nonproliferation as a “tool of the Chinese government,” noting the company has “no meaningful ability to tell the Chinese Communist Party ‘no’ if officials decide to ask for their assistance.” It provides “a foundation of technology-facilitated surveillance and social control” as part of the CCP’s broader crusade “to shape the world consistent with its authoritarian model,” the State Department report adds. Amnesty International rated Tencent’s data encryption capabilities zero out of 100, noting it hadn’t “stated publicly that they will not grant government requests to backdoor.”

On January 31, 2021, Latham & Watkins boasted that it successfully “persuaded” the U.S. government to lift Trump-era sanctions on state-owned China COSCO Shipping Corporation Limited (COSCO). COSCO is a controversial, Shanghai-based logistics company labeled as a “thinly veiled arm of the Chinese military” by a task force of the U.S. House of Representatives. Eleven of its 13 executives boast of high-level CCP affiliations on COSCO’s website. Latham & Watkins also employs as one of Perry's fellow Partners, Hui Xu, whose bio describes him as previously working for China’s Ministry of Commerce where he handled trade remedy, intellectual property, and World Trade Organization matters. The firm also tracks legislative developments in the CCP, often praising the regime’s “vigorous” environmental laws, even noting “President Xi’s announcement signals a renewed effort to improve the fragmented political infrastructure of environmental governance in China.” Latham & Watkins has also praised China’s Five-Year Plans for its “increased focus on climate change and a more open trade environment.”[33]

‘RINO Who Lost By 40+ Points’: Social Media Torches Former Wyoming Rep. Liz Cheney After She Criticized Jim Jordan

House Select January 6 Committee Holds Its Eighth Hearing

Brent Foster

Former Republican Wyoming Rep. Liz Cheney stepped back into congressional politics on Friday with a jab at Republican Ohio Rep. Jim Jordan as he vies for the speakership.

Cheney took to Twitter to slam Jordan, saying he “was involved in Trump’s conspiracy to steal the election and seize power” and puts the GOP at risk.

Some Twitter users appeared to agree with Cheney but others weren’t so approving.

“Why would anyone take political advice from a RINO who lost by 40+ points?” lawyer Rogan O’Handley replied.

The quip was a reference to Cheney’s 2022 landslide Republican primary defeat in Wyoming, where she lost by 37 points.

Handley’s roast was followed by a plethora of criticism directed at Cheney with one user telling her to “Just go home” while another simply asked, “Who’s Liz Cheney?”

“Excellent endorsement for Jordan, best seen today!” another Twitter user said.

Cheney also faced censure in 2021 from her home state’s GOP after voting for former President Donald Trump’s impeachment. (RELATED: Liz Cheney Announces Support For Embattled House Democrat)

Jordan won the GOP nomination for the speakership on Friday afternoon.

THEY’RE SCARED: Democrats And A Certain RINO Are Melting Down Over Tucker Carlson Releasing 41,000 Hours Of J6 Footage

by

The corporate media and the Democrats’ worst nightmare came true after Speaker Kevin McCarthy gave Tucker Carlson 41,000 hours of unreleased J6 footage.

The January 6th commission led by Democrats and two despicable RINOs (Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger) solely focused on vengeance against President Trump and trying to ensure he went to jail. Revealing the unvarnished truth would have detracted from these efforts.

Carlson, who correctly pointed out the Commission’s obfuscation of the truth months ago, said this to Axios after obtaining the footage:

“There was never any legitimate reason for this footage to remain secret. If there was ever a question that’s in the public’s interest to know, it’s what actually happened on January 6. By definition, this video will reveal it.”

The truth to Democrats is like sunlight to vampires. They are trembling in terror over their possible political destruction after this footage is released.

Dr. Thorp: “The Government May Block Access to Life-saving Drugs in Another Lockdown”

Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) released a statement on Twitter outright lying about Tucker and claiming releasing actual camera footage would fuel “dangerous conspiracy theories.”

Recall Schiff doctored texts between Mark Meadows and Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH). Think Tucker will expose this?

During January 6 Hearing, Schiff Doctored Text Messages Between Mark Meadows And Rep. Jim Jordan https://t.co/uSKVmSph81

— Sean Davis (@seanmdav) February 21, 2023

Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-MD) is screaming that releasing the footage is “MAGA propaganda” and falsely calls Tucker a “pro-Putin” journalist.

Here is far-left Rep. Ritchie Torres (D-NY) complaining that handing off the J6 footage to Tucker is “as insane as appointing Marjorie Taylor Greene to the Homeland Security Committee.” Both moves, of course, are excellent.

Kinzinger whined that McCarthy should have shared this footage with Congress and compromised “investigators” instead. Of course, the J6 commission had access to this surveillance to begin with but chose to bury it.

Get the popcorn ready for next week. Their lies will be exposed.

Jan. 6 Committee’s Thompson and Cheney Release Statement Whining About DOJ Not Indicting Meadows and Scavino

by

The House Select Committee Investigating January 6’s Chairman Rep. Bennie Thompson and Vice Chair Rep. Liz Cheney have issued a press release whining about the Justice Department’s decision not to indict former Trump Chief of Staff Mark Meadows and former Trump Deputy Chief of Staff Dan Scavino.

On Friday, former Trump advisor Peter Navarro was arrested after being indicted by a federal grand jury for criminal contempt of Congress over his refusal to cooperate with the House committee probe.

The Department of Justice previously arrested another former Trump advisor, Stephen Bannon, for also refusing to comply with a subpoena from the committee.

The House committee also requested the arrests of Meadows and Scavino.

Cheney and Thompson’s statement read as follows:

“While today’s indictment of Peter Navarro was the correct decision by the Justice Department, we find the decision to reward Mark Meadows and Dan Scavino for their continued attack on the rule of law puzzling. Mr. Meadows and Mr. Scavino unquestionably have relevant knowledge about President Trump’s role in the efforts to overturn the 2020 election and the events of January 6th. We hope the Department provides greater clarity on this matter. If the Department’s position is that either or both of these men have absolute immunity from appearing before Congress because of their former positions in the Trump Administration, that question is the focus of pending litigation. As the Select Committee has argued in District Court, Mark Meadows’s claim that he is entitled to absolute immunity is not correct or justified based on the Department of Justice Office of Legal Counsel Memoranda. No one is above the law.”

While speaking to Fox News prior to his arrest, Navarro called any possible prosecution of him “domestic terrorism.”

Speaking to MSNBC, Navarro said he would “lead the charge” to pursue charges against Biden and leading Democrats if Republicans win in 2024.

“You bet your a** that I will lead the charge,” Navarro said. “I will take Adam Schiff and Jamie Raskin and Nancy Pelosi and Rosa DeLauro — all of those clowns and kangaroos — I’ll take Biden and every single senior staff member in there–”

“And do what?” host Ari Melber asked.

“Hit them with subpoenas,” Navarro said. “We’ll start with the impeachment of Biden for Ukraine, the southern border, all manner of things he is guilty of and we’ll subpoena his senior staff.”

“I will push as hard as I can to use the same B.S. the Democrats are using now to try to put me in prison for standing up for principle,” Navarro continued. “If they want to play that game, we’ll play it right back. They’ll hit us, we hit them back harder. That’s not what I want, Ari. Let me be clear. I do not want that.”

Navarro is facing two counts, each of which could mean between 30 days and a year of jail time and a fine of up to $100,000, if he is convicted.

Public hearings from the Jan. 6 committee will begin on Thursday.

ROGER STONE Adds Two More Lies to List of Lies Made by Liz Cheney’s Star Witness Cassidy Hutchinson

by

How many times can the same people recycle the same lie?

Guest post by Roger Stone

On June 28th, Cassidy Hutchinson, a former aide to White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows, was a surprise witness in the January 6th committee hearings. Although heavily hyped as a “surprise witness” with startling “new information” much of what Cassidy said was both eagerly reported as “fact” by the mainstream media and just as quickly debunked by more objective news organizations.

I won’t recount here how quickly disproved Cassidy’s second-hand claim that President Trump, irate that his Secret Service detail would not take him to the Capitol, sought to grab the wheel of his Presidential Limousine and assaulted a Secret Service Agent. Even NBC News reported that Secret Service Officials are prepared to testify under oath that neither of these things happened.

Congresswoman Liz Cheney induced Hutchinson to say it was her “understanding” that “President Trump instructed White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows to call Roger Stone and General Michael Flynn on the evening of January 5th” and that it was Hutchinson’s “understanding” that these calls were completed on the evening of January 5th.

Cheney would later speculate that the purpose of these calls on January 5th was “to find out what was going to happen on January 6th. Once again USA Today, would report this falsehood without any effort to confirm its accuracy.

Rolling Stone, USA Today, MSNBC, Yahoo News, Miami-Herald, and others almost immediately reported Hutchinson’s claim as if it were a fact. If any of these “news outlets” had bothered to call for comment, they would have learned that Hutchinson’s claim was unequivocally false; I received no such call from Mark Meadows on January 5th. In fact, although I met him once in the green room at FOX in 2019 when he was still a Congressman, I have never spoken to him by phone or in person on any other occasion.

General Flynn tells me that he didn’t speak to Mark Meadows on January 5th and neither has he ever had any phone conversation with Meadows. To their credit, ABC News was the only media outlet to request a comment on Hutchinson’s baseless claims and accurately report my denial.

Hutchinson went on to say that Meadows wanted to attend a “briefing in a war room set up in the Willard Hotel.” Hutchinson said that Meadows was persuaded not to attend this briefing in person but that he participated in the briefing “with Roger Stone and General Flynn” by phone.

Here’s how NPR reported it:

Once again, there never was any such telephone briefing. That of course did not stop USA Today or the New York Times from gleefully recycling this canard without contacting me or my attorney for comment. Nor was I aware of or involved with any “war room” within the Willard Hotel.

In fact, the Washington Post has reported accurately that “The Willard attracted many pro-Trump figures around that time, including “Stop the Steal” provocateur Roger Stone. Stone was not part of the Giuliani team at the Willard and did not participate in the team’s efforts, according to three people with knowledge of the matter.

I continue to believe that the “Stop the Steal” effort to bring public attention to the anomalies and irregularities as well as very real evidence of fraud in the results of the 2020 election, constitutes an act of Constitutionally protected free speech and that the legally permitted and peaceful events on January 5th and 6th are Constitutionally protected under the 4th amendment. At no time did I, Ali Alexander, or Alex Jones publicly or privately advocate violence or lawlessness. There has been a concerted effort by the Democrats and their allies in the fake news media to insist otherwise.

It is sad that I must reiterate it, but any assertion, claim, or even implication that I was aware in advance of, involved in, or condoned any illegal activity at the U.S. Capitol on January 6th or any other date is categorically false. Nor was I involved in any legal effort to delay the certification of the results of the electoral college. There is no witness, email, text message, encrypted message, or individual that proves otherwise. Unfortunately, since this assertion is never reported by the fake news media, false claims about my actions on January 5th and 6th are constantly recycled, including today by the Miami-Herald.

The favored tactic of the left, in this case, is “guilt by association.” Because the off-duty D.C. police officers who had provided paid security for me and my family during my January 2020 Trial in Washington D.C. were unavailable; the Oath Keepers organization provided security for me on January 5th. I do know individual members of the Proud Boys. I am a 41-year friend and supporter of President Donald Trump. None of these facts proves anything whatsoever.

Hutchinson’s Cheney-induced assertions about me were the source of a tsunami-like wave of hatred and vilification on Twitter. This exposes the true purpose of the baseless attacks on me; to associate me falsely with actions I was not involved in and had no involvement in, to drive up the cost of lawyers that I require to defend myself, and to drag my name through the mud one more time. Sadly, I am the Trump Supporter that woke leftists love most to hate.

My wife and I are already defending ourselves in 11 outstanding civil suits filed by liberal interest groups as well as your garden-variety left-wing crackpots. Every one of these lawsuits is baseless, meritless, groundless, but sensationalized. Unfortunately, we are required to mount a legal defense in every case including a case in which a George Soros-backed legal front group is financing a lawsuit against me and President Trump blaming us (falsely) for the events at the Capitol on January 6th.

At the same time, I was assailed by the fake news media based on the false claims of Cassidy Hutchinson, the Florida Bulldog attacked me and my wife in a story about the pending Biden Department of Justice civil suit against us regarding our inability to pay our 2007-2011 federal income taxes. Any claim that we failed to report income correctly, or that we hid assets from the IRS is demonstrably false. The number of inaccuracies in this hit-piece by the veteran left-wing distortianist Dan Christiansen are too numerous to recount here.

That we, like millions of Americans, owe money to the IRS is not disputed. That we have “delayed or avoided” paying these past due taxes is also false; we made ever-increasing monthly payments to the IRS for 5 years without interruption prior to the Mueller Witch-hunt driving us to the brink of bankruptcy when we simply could no longer pay. Contrary to the irresponsible and baseless claims of the Florida Bulldog, my wife and I through our Tax Accountants have provided all of the information requested by the Government. The assertion without any evidence whatsoever that we provided inaccurate information to our own Tax Accountant, a felony, is both baseless and defamatory. What do you expect from a pig but a grunt?

In fact, our tax attorney was engaged in a good-faith “offer and compromise” negotiations to resolve our tax debt at the time that the Biden DOJ, without notice, filed its sensationalized civil lawsuit against us falsely implying that we had hidden income “in order to live a lavish lifestyle.” In truth, there is not a month in which the combination of our legal bills and my wife’s past due uninsured medical expenses related to her treatment for Stage 4 cancer do not exceed the amount of income I make that month working as hard as I can.

There is nothing lavish about our current lifestyle. Those patriots who want to help us in our continuing legal battle with the deep state can go to https://stonedefensefund.com. Those who want to help us with Mrs. Stone’s past due and ongoing uninsured medical expenses can go to https://www.stonefamilyfund.com
