Marion Michael "Mike" Rounds is a U.S. Senator and former Governor of South Dakota. Though he campaigned as conservative and pro-life, supposedly having fought unsuccessfully to end abortion in his state, Rounds turned against Donald Trump on national television on January 10, 2022. Trump responded by saying Rounds went "woke" and that Trump would never endorse him again.

Rounds tends to side with the liberal media on the important issue of election integrity.

U.S. Senate

Rounds joined Senate Republicans in urging President Trump to withdraw from the Paris Climate Agreement.[1]

In 2018, Rounds joined a small group of Republicans opposing the First Step Act,[2] a bi-partisan criminal justice reform bill that passed the Senate and was signed by Donald Trump.

Political positions

Rounds is a conservative who opposes abortion, Obamacare, and reckless government spending.[3] Despite this, however, Rounds allowed himself to be manipulated and used by the liberal media to pretend that Biden won the 2020 election fairly.[4]
