Paul Mitchell

Michigan former U.S. Representative

Paul Mitchell, III (born November 14, 1956), is a former Republican-turned-Independent who served as he [[U.S. Representative for Michigan's 10th congressional district. The establishment Republican left the party following Trump's attempt to combat election fraud.[1]

Mitchell voted to condemn President Trump's withdrawal from Syria.[2]

Mitchell voted in late July 2020 to remove Civil War-era statues, joining 71 other House Republicans and all Democrats.[3]

He was replaced by conservative woman Lisa McClain who voted to object to the disputed presidential election results.
