Phil Scott
Phil Scott is the governor of Vermont, serving since 2017.
While belonging to the Republican Party, Scott takes many left-wing positions. For example, he allowed a bill completely legalizing abortion without any limits or restrictions to become law,[1] signing it into law rather than passively allowing its enactment.[2] Scott also signed a restrictive gun control law, which was unpopular with residents of Vermont.[3] He also refused to endorse Donald Trump for re-election in 2020, proving himself to be a RINO.[4]
Scott announced in late November 2020 that students in the state will tell educators if they participated in family gatherings for Thanksgiving, and that they will be forced to quarantine from school if they have due to the CCP virus in the United States.[5]
