Prescott Sheldon Bush (May 15, 1895 – October 8, 1972) was a banker and a Republican Senator from Connecticut from 1952 to 1963. He was the father of President George H. W. Bush, and the grandfather of President George W. Bush and former Florida Governor Jeb Bush. He was a Rockefeller Republican, and similar to his descendents, he was indeed a liberal RINO.

Union Bank

Bush, manager of Averell Harriman's Union Bank, negotiated on behalf of the bank with Nazis before and during World War II, which managed German assets in the United States.[1] In 1942, the assets were seized by the federal government. In 1943 President Franklin Roosevelt appointed Harriman U.S. Ambassador to the Soviet Union.

Support of eugenics

Bush was a member of the American Birth Control League since 1942. He also served as the treasurer of Planned Parenthood's first national campaign in 1947.[2]
