The Lincoln Project, a group of pyscho Trump-hating Republican operatives, issued a statement Friday afternoon claiming credit for the false flag Tiki torch stunt Friday morning in Charlottesville that targeted the campaign of Republican candidate for governor Glenn Youngkin. (Update at end, a liberal activist claims co-credit.)

The stunt was reported by WVIC-TV reporter Elizabeth Holmes who reported the operatives said something like, “We’re all in for Glenn,”
as they formed up in front of the Youngkin campaign bus parked outside an event at a Guadalajara Restaurant in Charlottesville.

The small group of false flag operatives was comprised of three White men, a White woman and a Black man, dressed in matching white dress shirts, tan khaki trousers, ball caps and sunglasses with each carrying Tiki torches pretending to be Youngkin supporters reenacting the infamous 2017 White nationalist Tiki torch Unite the Right march in Charlottesville.

But now, at least two of the operatives involved in the stunt are not Lincoln Project members they are Democrat Party operatives.

Colleen Wachenfeld, the only torch-carrying woman in the photo, is a top Democrat operative from Arizona who is now working with Democrats and the McAuliffe Campaign.
Poor Colleen deleted her Twitter account on Friday after she was identified with her torch.

Tucker Carlson Just Buries Eric Swalwell for Falling for 'Tiki Torch’ Hoax as More Questions Are Raised

We reported yesterday on the disgusting and obviously staged stunt involving several individuals who showed up at a Friday event in Charlottesville for Virginia Republican gubernatorial nominee Glenn Youngkin carrying tiki torches and dressed as “Trump supporters,” planting themselves in front of Youngkin’s campaign bus as a local NBC News reporter conveniently happened to be standing nearby to take a photo and tweet it.

But did he “fall for it” – or did he know about it in advance?

Questions are being raised (by me) this morning as to what Swalwell might have known about the planning of the tiki torch stunt. Stay with me here as try to flesh this out a bit.

If you’ll recall, Swalwell also helped amplify the predictable “Southern Strategy” ad the LP released Thursday night, an ad that tried to scare black voters by falsely tying Youngkin to the racist “Southern Strategy” days from decades ago.

In addition to that, early Friday afternoon – two hours after he commented on the tiki torch photo that the NBC News reporter had tweeted out, Swalwell also urged his followers to follow radical Dem activist Lauren Windsor, who Swalwell claims has the goods on Republicans in regards to the Capitol riot. Why is that relevant? Because late Friday afternoon, Windsor admitted to her role in the Lincoln Project tiki torch stunt:

Hmm, all of this seems a bit too convenient, doesn’t it?

So, in my opinion, some questions should be asked of the California Congressman who is otherwise known as “Eric Fartwell” for reasons only this video can fully explain.

Did he know about the Lincoln Project stunt in advance? If so, just when did he learn about it? Was he also involved in the planning of it? Enquiring minds want to know.

It was clearly staged that way in order to invoke memories of the tiki torches being carried by white nationalists the night before the infamous 2017 “Unite the Right” rally in Charlottesville.

Speculation went wild as to who might have been behind it. Was it Democrat nominee Terry McAuliffe’s floundering campaign, members from the Official Virginia Dem party office – or both? Both the McAuliffe campaign and the official Dem party of Virginia denied involvement, and not long after that the sexual-predator-defending slimeballs at the Lincoln Project issued a statement unapologetically owning up to what they did, and promising more to come until Youngkin denounced something that former President Trump did NOT say about the 2017 tiki torch carriers (that they were “very fine people”).

But before the LP took to the Twitter machine to admit they were behind the stunt, Rep. Eric “Chinese honey pot” Swalwell also weighed in on the tiki torch incident, falling for the hoax in a way idiotically gullible sellouts like him often do.

In response, and because dunking on Swalwell never, ever gets old, Fox News host Tucker Carlson – with who Swalwell has a running feud – just buried Swalwell last night on his program for falling for it, noting that none of us should be surprised that someone as “legitimately stupid” would have taken the bait. Just hilarious stuff here:

McAuliffe Campaign Now in More Trouble Over Accusations Involving Racist Tweets

Virginia gubernatorial candidate Terry McAuliffe’s campaign just can’t seem to stop imploding.

I thought that McAuliffe saying, “I don’t think parents should be telling schools what they should teach,” was basically the stake through the heart of his campaign.

But McAuliffe and his campaign haven’t stopped stepping in it ever since. All this has been having a big impact on the campaign with a new Fox poll finding the Youngkin is eight percent ahead of McAuliffe with likely voters after being in basically the opposite position just two weeks ago because Youngkin has burst ahead in the numbers and McAuliffe has collapsed.

McAuliffe also created a stir when he hired the Elias Law Group because Marc Elias is known for representing people contesting elections. That seemed to indicate that he knew his campaign was in trouble. Fox wrote a story about it and asked the McAuliffe campaign for further comment. Then one of his campaign communications people accidentally sent Fox an email revealing the effort to kill their story.

Then, yesterday, people supporting McAuliffe got busted trying to run a fake ‘white supremacist’ smear against Glenn Youngkin. They had people holding tiki torches to imitate the tiki torch bearers who marched in Charlottesville in 2017. The Lincoln Project has taken the blame for the smear, but it remains to be seen if they actually were involved. They’re so desperate for attention at this point and Democrats are anxious to run away from this incident at all due speed.

But as if that weren’t enough, now, there are accusations that a spokesperson for McAuliffe’s campaign, Renzo Olivari, posted racist tweets in 2012.

“#ThingsBlackFolksNeverThrowAway broken lamps,” one tweet said. Another said, “#TweetLikeAGuy going out with da nigguhs.”

Fox saw the tweets and confirmed that they were real before they were deleted from Olivari’s account. Olivari has also previously worked for the Kamala Harris For the People as Nevada press secretary and as Virginia Communications Director for Joe Biden’s presidential campaign, according to his LinkedIn page.

McAuliffe’s campaign keeps accusing Youngkin of “dog whistles” but it appears to be his supporters who tried to perpetrate a white supremacist hoax against Youngkin. Now this news about his spokesperson. Looks like it isn’t Youngkin, but it’s McAuliffe who needs to clean up his own house. There’s no doubt that had this been Youngkin’s campaign these allegations would be all over the network news. But they wouldn’t get the same attention involving a Democrat. These new revelations over the past day are going to deal McAuliffe’s campaign another blow, the only question is how much.

Virginia Democrats must know just how bad things are looking for Terry McAuliffe in the gubernatorial election that will be decided on Tuesday. In addition to the McAuliffe campaign hiring a lawyer known for challenging election results (and trying to kill that story) Virginia Democrats have resorted to a false flag stunt right out of the Jussie Smollett playbook.

A group of five alleged white supremacists stood before a Youngkin campaign bus with tiki torches claiming, “We’re all in for Glenn.”

Of course the first clue that something wasn’t right here is the fact that one of the alleged white supremacists is a black man. That, of course, didn’t stop McAuliffe aide Jen Goodman from pretending the stunt was legitimate.

However, it appears that one of the “white supremacists” involved in the stunt might be Camden Layton, the financial director for the Young VA Democrats.

The individuals have not been positively identified yet.

Neither Jussie Smollett nor Bubba Wallace was available for comment.

BUSTED: Multiple Participants in White Supremacist Smear Against Glenn Youngkin Allegedly Identified

Earlier today, RedState reported on a disgusting, false smear that took place against Republican Glenn Youngkin as he rallied in Charlottesville, VA. A group of people stood in front of his bus, some with Trump hats on, posing with tiki-torches and pretending to be racist supporters of Youngkin. The scene was meant to be a call-back to the “Unite the Right” rally some years ago which caused such a political firestorm.

In what appeared to be a coordinated hit, media figures and members of the Terry McAuliffe campaign immediately spread the picture as proof that white supremacists support the Youngkin campaign. Yet, it was obvious the picture presented the opposite.

As I noted, you could zoom in and see that one of the men was black, which would be odd if these were actually white supremacists. Another appeared to be a woman. The entire ordeal was too perfect, as well. The “reporter” who spread the picture claims to have heard them say: “We are all in for Glenn.” Within minutes, McAuliffe’s spokeswoman was on social media saying the picture disqualified Youngkin from the race.

Now, we are beginning to learn who the participants in the stunt appear to be. I must stress that the identifications being made are alleged and not fully confirmed. Still, their political affiliations appear to make things fairly certain, and past that, both have locked their Twitter accounts.

Colleen Wachenfeld and Camden Layton both list in their bios that they work for Virginia Democrats, which is the official Democrat Party organization in the state. Given that, it’s probable that the other people in the picture are also paid operatives, not just by some third-party group like The Lincoln Project, but by an organization that directly coordinates with Terry McAuliffe.

As I speculated in my initial write-up, the speed with which members of the McAuliffe campaign latched onto this was too suspicious. It seems likely this was coordinated, with McAuliffe’s staff knowing this would take place. If that’s true, this will go down as one of the most dishonest, despicable political hitjobs in modern history.

It would have been one thing had McAuliffe’s campaign just admitted the picture was meant to be ironic. Instead, they ran with the idea that these were actually Youngkin supporters and that he was actually disqualified from the race over it. That’s a level of falsehood that even the most contentious campaigns rarely delve into. Usually, candidates try to live in gray areas with wiggle room, even when they tell falsehoods. In this case, McAuliffe’s surrogates went full bore with an obvious lie and don’t even appear to be walking it back.

While I doubt this kind of stupidity moves the needle in a state that cares much more about important issues, it does show just how desperate the McAuliffe campaign is. A campaign that thinks they are winning does not do stuff like this because the chance of it backfiring is too high. They pulled the trigger anyway, though, and that says their internals must be dire.

Andrew Whitley, Executive Director of the Democratic Party of Virginia, released this carefully worded statement saying “The Democratic Party of Virginia, along with its coordinated partners and affiliated, did not have any role today in the events that happened outside of the Youngkin campaign bus stop today”:
